Does your diet contain all the essential nutrients you need?

Are you the impression that all nutrient needs are filled by the food you eat?

Vitamins and minerals are essential for health. Your body is unable to produce much of what you need. Therefore, the food you eat should replace missing nutrients. But is not it?

If you were to take a trip back to the fifties or sixties, our crops will naturally contained everything we needed. The secret is in the soil, the amount of organic matter then was over 20%. Organic agricultural soils now contain only about 3% at best.

Of course at that time there was no giant supermarkets like we have today. Instead they were eating only foods that had just been harvested, which meant they were high in natural nutrients.

What do we have?

Our food is grown in flooded fields with pesticides, herbicides and many other chemical contaminants. Research has shown that over 75% of soil nutrients are exhausted. Therefore, none of the plants grown in this country is lacking these nutrients.

What does this mean for you?

Among the missing nutrients are 60 vitamins and minerals 16, which are vital for the immune system, without these will not work correctly.

Crops grown in this soil after harvest are sent to be processed. During this time, covered with synthetic chemical preservatives, food coloring and other chemicals that make the food last longer and make it more attractive to the consumer. This has the effect of reducing nutrient levels further.

Many of the crops subject to some type of cooking, heat is further reduced nutrients. By the time the harvest is over on the shelves of local supermarkets and the goodness that your body is used?

Studies conducted over a period of twenty years have shown that nutrient levels in each category of plants have dropped dramatically. For example, calcium up to 53%, 35% 29% thiamin and niacin. The figures for the rest of the vegetables showed a similar loss in essential nutrients.

This has resulted in only a third of the population consuming anywhere near the recommended intake of fruits and vegetables. On the other hand, 66% of the population do not eat enough vegetables to keep your vitamin and mineral levels high enough to protect them from chronic diseases and other health problems.

Now there is growing evidence of a direct relationship between vitamin and mineral deficiencies and a series of health problems.

For example, chromium is a mineral usually found in food crops is given as a supplement to people who suffer from depression. His symptoms showed a substantial improvement.

B5 deficiency has been associated with arthritis. Niacin (B3) has been proven to increase joint flexibility and reduce inflammation. Many of the vitamins and minerals act as antioxidants to protect us against many diseases.

Giving evidence before a congressional committee revealed that if everyone took daily supplements of their risk of serious diseases would be reduced by a significant amount. All research carried out in a direction that points deficiencies of vitamins and minerals in our diet dramatically increase our risk of cancer, heart disease and many other health problems.

Our diets and are no longer sufficient to provide the essential nutrients we need.

Therefore, we must take some form of supplements to compensate for this deficiency. Taking a daily supplement is no longer a health fad has become an absolute necessity. Your health and your family's future and well-being may depend on it.
